Getting the First 10,000 Visitors to a Blog is a Remarkable Achievement. But, only a few people reach 10,000 visitors per month. So how can you be the lucky one to get it? You will know that.

1. Content, Content and Content

Content is indeed the most powerful weapon to increase visitors. What content do you mean?

It turns out that the original content and not copy paste is not enough, the content must be of high quality, interesting and really useful for the reader.

Write articles that allow your visitors to solve the problems that they are facing. That is, make the article with a deep and complete discussion by writing down the various possibilities that will be encountered when blog visitors follow the guidelines that you provide.

That is why many senior bloggers say choose a niche blog according to your interests, because you will be very interested in finding new information and the spirit of pouring it into writing.

2. Don't Be Too Busy with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

In 2009 and below, many articles and even paid e-books covered how to search engine optimization or SEO.

For example:

a. Spread keywords in the article;
b.Provide italics or bold in every keyword;
c. Looking for backlinks, inbound, outbound;
d. Blog walking, link building, and all that.

... and I've never done it.

I just did a modest on-page SEO optimization without doing those things.

Since the existence of Android phones and Chrome, Google's algorithm can read visitor behavior to find out how quality an article is.

- How long does an visitor read the article;

- How much is shared naturally via WhatsApp, Social Media, etc .;

- How many people bookmarked their Chrome; and

- Other behaviors that indicate that an article is indeed quality.

In the past .. Blogger wrote an article to read Google robot (as a result of search engine optimization earlier);

Now .. Write an article for humans to read ...!

... means that the article must be readable, does not contain repeated, useful, high-quality, interesting keywords, so that the reader enthusiastically and naturally shares the article with others, bookmarks and more.

So SEO is not important?

It's not important hahaha, I mean that don't be too busy with SEO.

Learn and apply standard and reasonable SEO, for example keywords must be in the title of the article, that's for sure yes! Everyone also knows ..!

... and other SEO On Page Optimizations that you certainly already know.

3. Don't Write Much-Written Articles

Writing articles with topics that are too general and has been widely reviewed will be very difficult to compete with other blogs that are old if the topics discussed are the same.

Example: How to install Windows 10;

Oops .. Already thousands of articles may discuss about this tutorial, even high-class blogs also write this, how do you want to compete?

Write something that is really new or rarely written and many people will look for.

Here's what I did:

a. Find out about the latest news or information;

b. Next understand to do your own research and trials;

c. I write articles, tutorials, guides that enable visitors to solve the problems they are facing with deep and thorough discussion.

This method will make the article quickly on the first page of Google search, there are even some of my articles that only take 1 day to enter page one of Google search.

4. Write a minimum of 500 words article

Longer articles will be considered by Google to be of higher quality than other articles.

Write each article at least 500 words, the longer the better. But do not be extended with unnecessary words, still must be solid.

5. Consistent and Patient

If you want to have a blog that has high traffic, take care of your blog consistently and patiently because getting visitors is not an easy matter, it takes a process and time.

World successful bloggers like Michael Arrington who managed to get up to 9.1 billion / month also need hard work, nothing is suddenly successful.

1. Michael Arrington manages his free blog every day with only a laptop and modem, but it also doesn't work;

2. Without giving up, 4 years later Micheal increased the frequency of article updates to 25 articles every day;

3. Micheal did it every day and night without anyone's help.

The bitterness of blogging and the exhaustion of eyes staring at computers has finally forged him into a successful blogger.
